Scouts, Cubs and Beavers
1st Congresbury Scouts, Cubs and Beavers What We offer Opportunities for young people between the ages of 6 and 8 (Beavers), 8 and 10 (Cubs) & 10½+ (Scouts) to learn life skills and outdoor activity skills. To attend or compete in District and County competitions and also jamboree with young people from other areas. Benefits to Young People Opportunities to learn camping and cooking skills, and basic survival skills. Also, adventure skills including kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing and many more.  Access to the activities and resources of the Scout Association. Dates and Times Beavers - Fridays 5:30 to 6:30pm - 6 to 8 years Cubs - Thursdays 6:30 - 8:00pm - 8 to 10 years Scouts - Mondays 7:00 - 8:30pm. Activities also happen on other nights and weekends. Overnight camp often lasts 2 or 3 nights.
